The ZuneHD is the
latest generation of Zune, set to compete with the iPod Touch in every
way.
It
comes in two capacities, 16GB ($219) and 32GB ($289), and two colors,
black and silver. The new device sports an HD radio, a beautiful user
interface, and Internet browsing. There are drawbacks to the device,
one of which is the lack of an App store that compares to the Apple
iTunes App Store.
This new media player from Microsoft also has a
3.3-inch OLED touch screen. When compared to old iPod Touch, the images
on the ZuneHD screen seem much more crisp and a little brighter. The
OLED touch-screen is very responsive, comparable to those on Apple
devices.
Customers who had had the pleasure of using the ZuneHD
were most impressed with its user interface. The navigation process was
very fluid and slick. The user interface is very visual and fun to use.
Then there is the Zune Marketplace. For as little as $15 a month, you
can download an unlimited amount of MP3s.
