Sony XEL-1
Sony XEL-1 - The world's first OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) TV.

It has a 3mm thin Organic Panel which uses individually lit organic pixels to create a brighter, more colourful picture that can be viewed from wide angles. Their response time is blazing-fast when compared with pixels in current flat panel displays; and because they can be selectively turned off, deep blacks and dark scenes are displayed perfectly. It also means that OLED TVs are 40% cheaper to run than equivalent sized LCD TVs.
