Ingo Maurer is the first to use OLEDs from OSRAM in a functioning table light. The limited-edition light, knownas "Early Future",shines with tiles directly from the OSRAM laboratory and demonstrates the enormous potential of using OLEDs.

OSRAM Orbeos

Osram has introduced the first OLED lighting product. Called Orbeos, the warm white area emitter is 80mm diameter, 2.1mm thick and weighs 24g.

With its warm white color temperature (2,800K, CRI up to 80), the Orbeos is suited to lighting that is atmospheric and functional at the same time. Orbeos can be switched on and off without delay, and in ideal operating conditions it has a lifespan of around 5,000 hours.
