Korean Giant, Samsung, wants to dominate the world transparent screen market, and plans to introduce a range of new electronic gadgets with transparent displays within this year.

Samsung OLED Laptop with transparent AMOLED screen falls in the "very cool gadget" category and looks like it was taken out from some furistic movie.

The display used in the Samsung OLED notebook is a 14 inch transparent AMOLED display, which when turned off becomes up to 40 percent transparent. The laptop concept is claimed to be the world's first and largest transparent OLED laptop.

After showing a 14inch see-through AMOLED display at CES this year, the Korean company now says that testing suggests the PC could be in shops within the next 12 months.
