LG, the world's second-biggest TV brand, announced a 15-inch

LG OLED TV in August 2009, releasing it to the Korean market in

December of the same year and it will be in UK stores in April this

 year.

OLED's are an attractive alternative to traditional LCDs because they consume less power, display colors better, and can be thinner and lighter. Most major display makers are looking to offer OLED screens, but none of them have brought large OLEDs to market
The newest innovation of LG has been one of the world's hottest subjects after it was displayed in the recently concluded CES 2010.

The EL9500, LG's 15" OLED TV is not only the largest but it also is more elegant-looking with its 3.2mm thickness.
The panel has a Luminence of 200 cd/m2, peak: 440 cd/m2 , Contrast of over 100,000:1 and a color gamut (NTSC) of over 87%. The response time is less than 0.01 msec.

LG 15 inch OLED TVs  should launch in Europe in May for 1,999 Euro, and U.S. release is expected sometime in the summer for around $2,725.
If you need the bigger screen, wait until second half this year as LG plans to launch its 30-32" OLED TV.
